PRATT PORTABLE GRAVITY FED EYE WASH UNITS ARE FOR USE IN AREAS WHERE PLUMBED POTABLE WATER IS NOT AVAILABLE. The eye wash unit is designed mainly for wall mounting applications but can be used as a standalone unit on a shelf or a bench.

- Fold down the eye wash tray to activate the water flow.
- Spray nozzles are protected from dust, grime and damage when the tray is in the closed position.
- Made from UV stabilized high density polyethylene (HDPE), with a yellow fold down tray for an easy identification.
- Molded handle on top allows easier handling and is designed to fit neatly on the wall mounting bracket supplied with unit.
- A wide fill opening with threaded cap permits easy inspection, cleaning and filling.

Important Information:
- The eye wash unit must be filled with clean potable water, AFTER it has been mounted to the wall bracket. Mounting a filled unit may cause damage to the unit and possible leakage. Adequate wall support is required. Unit weight is in excess of 38kg when filled to capacity. Damage to the unit resulting from filling before mounting to the wall WILL NOT be covered by warranty.
- Water Preservative is not included and will need to be
purchased separately.
Maintenace:
1. The eye wash unit should be inspected weekly as required by Standards. Conduct visual inspection for any leakages or damages.
2. Keep tray closed to protect eye wash nozzles and shut off water flow. Do not lean on tray when opened.
3. Water should be changed every 90 days (when preservative is used) and the unit cleaned or more often if conditions warrant. Water preservative should be added each time the water is changed.
4. Rinse and refill with clean potable water and a bottle of preservative when filling unit after use, cleaning or testing.
5. Upon each inspection or refill, record details on test tag.
6. Check water level in reservoir and top up if required.
